Vince McMahon Splits From PR Firm On Eve Of Documentary Release

Vince McMahon

Vince McMahon is no longer working with Sitrick and Company.

Back in April, it was revealed that Vince McMahon had enlisted the services of Sitrick And Company. The firm is known for its work in crisis management and has represented the likes of Roy Disney, Don King, Kobe Bryant, Pepsi, McDonalds, Starbucks, Hulk Hogan, and Steve Austin.

However, just hours before the premiere of “Mr. McMahon” on Netflix, it’s been reported by POST Wrestling that the two sides have parted ways. POST Wrestling noted that it was told by Sitrick that the firm was no longer working with McMahon on September 23rd.

It’s unclear when the split took place, although POST Wrestling has reached out for more details.

McMahon is still being represented by attorney Jessica Taub Rosenberg as he continues his legal battle with Janel Grant.

Back in January, former WWE employee Grant filed a lawsuit against McMahon, John Laurinaitis, and WWE, containing allegations of sex trafficking and sexual abuse. McMahon continues to deny any wrongdoing.

Vince McMahon Denounces Netflix Documentary

The “Mr. McMahon” documentary was first discussed back in 2020, but the project underwent several changes before completion. Notably, WWE wasn’t involved as a producer as had previously been suggested.

Furthermore, many of the interviews for the series were completed before Grant filed her allegations against McMahon, although the lawsuit is covered.

Ahead of the documentary’s premiere on September 25th, Vince McMahon hit out at the team behind the project, claiming it was misleading and “typical editing tricks” had been used. This was followed by a report that claimed McMahon had tried to buy the series from Netflix after seeing early cuts.
