Vince McMahon Will Return To Wrestling Business, Says WWE Legend
Vince McMahon’s return to the pro-wrestling industry has had a huge question mark written all over it since he resigned from TKO’s Board of Directors in 2024.
Rumors had it that The Big Man was planning to buy back WWE from Endeavor Group Holdings, but representatives dismissed it. Furthermore, the company is not for sale.
Nevertheless, if Vince McMahon can come up with the money to make an enticing offer that will benefit the shareholders, TKO will have to entertain it. On the other hand, the former WWE CEO has already launched a new venture named 14TH & I.
Vince McMahon can still return to the industry
The new company launched by The Big Man will look into sports, media, and entertainment. However, the exact nature of it is still unknown. Shane McMahon had previously clarified that 14TH & I will not become a new wrestling promotion, but JBL seems to disagree.
While speaking on Something to Wrestle podcast, JBL revealed that Vince McMahon finds it very difficult to stay away from work. Furthermore, he has the money to invest and the energy to work, and will turn the new business into a wrestling promotion to some extent.
I just don’t know how he can keep himself from it. He’s gonna invest. He’s got all the money in the world. He never has to work again a day in his life. He didn’t have to work for years, and he loves to work. I’ve told you the story many times, ‘I don’t know how you stay out there on that golf course for four hours. My God, that’s hell.’ He couldn’t understand being four hours away from work because all he wants to do is work.
It is to be noted that if Vince McMahon returns to WWE, Triple H might have to step down from his role as Chief Creative Officer.
