Vince McMahon Reacquring WWE Depends On Only One Thing

Vince McMahon’s rumored plans to reacquire WWE reportedly depend on one major thing.

The former WWE Chairman left the company last year amid being sued for alleged sexual assault and sex trafficking by former employee Janel Grant.

However, McMahon’s former on-screen executive assistant, Jonathan Coachman, and Dr. Chris Featherstone recently reported that the 79-year-old would be interested in buying back his former company if the opportunity presented itself.

On a recent episode of Sportskeeda’s The Wrestling Outlaws, Featherstone provided an update on McMahon’s alleged plans to reacquire WWE, disclosing that he was told by a source close to the former chairman that it all depends on the civil case with Grant.

The source explained that it all depends on the civil case with Grant. He does not want to hurt his baby, and privately, he has been consulting with ideas and advice.

As a matter of fact, I’m going to give you a little bit of the text message I received. It said that it all depends on the civil case with Grant. He does not want to hurt his baby.

And privately, he’s been consulting with ideas and advice. And so, that’s a little bit of the detail that I got. It’s a pretty lengthy text message that I got as far as Vince wanting WWE. [6:18 onwards]

Shane McMahon Didn’t Rule Out Vince McMahon’s Return To WWE

Vince McMahon’s son, Shane, recently gave a brief interview to TMZ amid the rumors suggesting his father might be interested in buying back his former company.

Asked about the truth of that rumor, Shane O’Mac refused to rule out the possibility, emphasizing that the former chairman still owns a big part of TKO.

Well, he owns a big part of TKO still, so you never know what’s going to happen there either. So, I’m not trying to be vague. I’m just saying anything can happen, of course.

Shane also addressed whether he and his father would start a new wrestling promotion.
