Vince McMahon “Exploring Opportunities In Combat Sports”

Vince McMahon

Vince McMahon is still looking for new opportunities.

Former WWE boss Vince McMahon has largely remained out of the spotlight since being forced out of his position on the TKO Group Board of Directors. McMahon’s exit came after he was accused of sexual abuse and sex trafficking by ex-WWE employee Janel Grant in January 2024.

McMahon was named in the lawsuit alongside WWE and John Laurinaitis, while Brock Lesnar has also been implicated.

In March 2025, Janel Grant’s legal team requested that the lawsuit be moved into discovery. This would see both sides forced to turn over documents and other evidence. However, McMahon and the other defendants are pushing back as they want the case moved to private arbitration.

Vince McMahon Held Talks With Interesting Company

Despite his legal problems, it’s been suggested that McMahon is looking to launch an entertainment company, and there were even rumors he wanted to return to the wrestling industry. However, representatives from Fox Sports were quick to deny they were involved in any potential project involving McMahon.

In a new interview with CanadaCasino.ca, Eric Bischoff has now claimed McMahon remains interested in working in combat sports. The WWE Hall of Famer said McMahon was involved in speaking to the same people he was about a new opportunity.

“Do I see at least a possibility on paper that Vince could invest as an investor in another wrestling organization? Yeah. Here’s what I know for a fact. I know for a fact that Vince is exploring opportunities in combat sports, at least as recently as about three months ago, so that leads me to believe that there is an interest, at least in doing something in this world of combat sports/sports entertainment.

I know this because he was dealing with someone that I was dealing with at the same time, and I heard the dialogue, or portions of it, back and forth, so I know this to be true, and it was substantiated and confirmed by another third party, so that I know it is a fact, and that tells me if that’s a fact, then sure there’s a possibility.

Vince is 78 years old. I don’t know what kind of condition he’s in right now. I know he’s gone through some back issues and stuff like that, but he probably feels like he’s 35. The fact that he’s 78 isn’t going to slow him down. Vince will work until the day he draws his last breath. He’s passionate. He loves to be busy. He loves a challenge, and Vince loves to fight.”

Bischoff went on to explain that he was speaking with the Bareknuckle Fighting Championship but ultimately decided to walk away before getting involved. He reiterated that McMahon was also talking to the team behind the company, but he too decided not to move forward.
