Vince McMahon Might Have A Plan To Return To WWE

Vince McMahon

Could Vince McMahon return to WWE in the near future?

If the recent Coach and Bro podcast is anything to go by, wheels may be in motion for the former boss’ “homecoming”.

In mid-2022, the Wall Street Journal reported that McMahon had paid $12 million in hush money to multiple women to keep sexual misconduct allegations against him under wraps.

As a result, he stepped down as WWE CEO and Chairman soon, with his daughter Stephanie McMahon taking over in similar roles.

The following year, a merger between WWE and Endeavor was announced, with Endeavor holding a 51% stake in the company. While Vince did try to return once again, he was forced to resign due to other severe allegations.

A Game At Play For Vince McMahon’s Return To WWE

While addressing viewers’ comments, Jonathan Coachman read one that said, “WWE needs Vince McMahon more than ever! #TKOSucks”.

Coach also questioned why McMahon is holding on to the third most stock in the company? Vince Russo, who was also on the podcast, shared his two cents about the situation:

What if, Vince obviously knew what was coming down the pike? He obviously knew he was gonna have to take a backseat, and he was gonna have to take a backseat for a couple of years whether he liked it or not. What if he made a deal with Ari (Emanuel) and TKO and they were the placeholder? You guys take care of this now. You make whatever you can make. You get X percentage, I get X percentage and three years when this is all behind me, this is the price i pay you to get my baby back.

Now, you may think there is no merit to that. Well, there is. We know that Vince McMahon and Ari Emanuel had a relationship for a very, very long time. This was not just a match made. They’ve had a relationship. Vince is a very smart guy. Vince obviously did not put it in Triple H’s and Stephanie’s hands after they voted against him coming back to the company. If he would have got together with Ari and said, “Brother, I’m gonna be tied up for the next three years. Here’s what we’re going to do.” Coach, that’s not crazy.

After Russo’s sharing of his ‘angle’ to the story, Coach appeared gobsmacked.

If Vince were to return to WWE full-time, it would change the dynamics of today’s business, given the reports about a toxic workplace environment under McMahon’s leadership.
