A former WWE writer has provided some insight into some wild ideas that were once discussed for Vince McMahon and others.

As the man in charge of WWE creative for 40 years until his retirement this past July, former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon did a lot of crazy things on his television shows. Whether he was having DX make fun of him repeatedly, doing an angle where a limo exploded with Vince inside of it, having the set collapse on him, having brown substances dumped on his head, and making out with a diva while his wife was comatose in a wheelchair in front of him.

Wrestling fans know that there are always a lot of rumors about different things that get discussed. There’s stuff out there like wild ideas when Stephanie McMahon was pregnant with Vince possibly being the father or Goldust possibly having breast implants to make his character stand out even more as if a guy painting his face in gold wasn’t enough.

Some of the wild rumors in wrestling history are true and some of it is not, but when it comes to WWE stories, anything is possible because Vince McMahon really didn’t have any limitations especially before the company went PG in 2008.

Former WWE lead writer Brian Gewirtz worked closely with Vince McMahon through the 2000s and into the 2010s before moving on to work for The Rock. Gewirtz wrote about his WWE career in a book called “There’s Just One Problem” that’s available now featuring a lot of funny stories.

On Twitter recently, Brian reacted to a tweet about The Rock might win the Royal Rumble leading to a WrestleMania 39 match with Roman Reigns. Since Brian knows The Rock personally, perhaps he knows something or perhaps he doesn’t, but he did have a funny comment.

One of Brian’s Twitter comments involved Vince McMahon having a midlife crisis and singing Black Eyed Peas songs:

Things “discussed” in my time at wwe:

Vince having midlife crisis, growing beard, wearing Hawaiian shirts and singing Black Eyed Peas songs

Kaval being Undertakers secret long lost son

Cena losing to Bray Wyatt via singing possessed child… wait, that one actually happened

In a follow-up tweet, Gewirtz seemed to suggest that son of Undertaker idea was never really pitched.

It should be also noted that Bray Wyatt responded to the tweet regarding the final line. He wrote: “Yes. Yes it did.”
