Vince McMahon Looked Like A Corpse In Latest Appearance, Says Ex-WWE Star
Vince McMahon has kept a deliberately low profile after stepping back from WWE leadership amid sexual assault, harassment, and trafficking lawsuit filed by former WWE employee Janel Grant in January 2024.
The ex-WWE boss has tried to avoid the media as much as possible, but he recently appeared on TMZ Presents: The Real Hulk Hogan on FOX to pay tribute to his late close friend, Hulk Hogan. The Hulkster passed away on July 24, 2025, at his Clearwater home in Florida. He was 71 years old at the time of his death.
During the Hogan documentary, many viewers noted he looked very different, remarkably pale and diminished. He lacked the usual robust presence he used to bring to public forums, which surprised both fans and peers.
During The Masters of Wrestling, ex-WWE star Paul Roma (along with Mario Mancini) observed that Vince McMahon looked “like a corpse” during his interview on the TMZ documentary about Hogan. Both described him as alarmingly pale, and Roma criticized the makeup artist, saying a touch more color could have helped him avoid appearing lifeless on camera.
I think they could have put some color in his face. I mean, he looked like if he closed his eyes and you put the camera on him, you’d think he was dead. [Mario Mancini: I told you. I told him he was he looked like a sitting corpse.] They should have put some color on his face. You don’t get some of that bronzer and put it on him. [From 23:24 to 24:13]
Jim Ross Echoes Vince McMahon Sentiment
On his podcast Grilling JR, Jim Ross expressed similar worries, characterizing Vince McMahon as someone who appeared worn down, tired, withdrawn, and aged beyond his years. Ross specifically criticized the makeup, calling it a misfire. He pointed out that Mr. McMahon’s hair and starkly colored eyebrows were jarring against his white, almost gaunt face.
I thought he looked horrible. He meaning Vince McMahon. I thought he looked tired, withdrawn and it had me concerned. Whoever did his makeup should be fired. He just looked withdrawn and so old… his eyes tell a big story… to me that he looked tired and a little frustrated. The hair thing was one, one issue that caught my eye, having his eyebrows colored, another thing that caught my eye.
