Vince McMahon Likely To Settle Lawsuit For Huge Sum

Vince McMahon WWE

One wrestling veteran thinks Vince McMahon will have to dig deep to make the serious lawsuit he is facing go away before it makes it to trial.

Former WWE employee Janel Grant launched a lawsuit in early 2024 against Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis and WWE. In it, Grant detailed alleged sexual abuse suffered at the hands of McMahon. She also accused McMahon of setting up a sexual affair between her and then Head of Talent Relations, Lauriniaitis, in addition to claims that McMahon tried to use her as a pawn in contract negotiations with Brock Lesnar.

Recently, John Laurinaitis switched sides and agreed to co-operate with Grant, turning on McMahon in the process and offering to provide evidence against his former boss.

The lawsuit has been the talk of the wrestling world for well over a year, and now Dutch Mantell has had his say on how he thinks the saga will end.

$50 Million Settlement In The Works For Vince McMahon?

Speaking on Story Time with Dutch Mantell, the wrestling veteran gave his thoughts on the Vince McMahon lawsuit and can’t see it going to trial with a huge sum of money likely offered to settle it:

They’re not going to have a trial about this. They’re going to go and he’s [Vince] going to pay them a ton, a ton of money. Let’s just settle out of court… I think we’re looking at 50 [million]. 50 million. I think I really do… They ruined that woman’s life, if you want to put it that way. So what’s a life worth? I think 50 million.

Mantell had absolutely nothing good to say about John Laurinaitis and says Laurinaitis has no redeeming qualities whatsoever:

Everybody that I’ve ever met… they couldn’t stand him. John Laurinaitis is just the way he got there. He is a backstabbing bastard, and that’s the way he’s always been his whole life. If you look at him, he’s not that great in the ring, he’s not that great on interviews, but he is great at at dirt, scraping dirt up and kissing up to the promoter or the owner.

I have found no redeeming qualities with John Laurinaitis ever. And he’ll be really, really friendly to your face and turn right around and stick the knife right in your heart.

If Mantell is right, then that might go some way to explain why Vince McMahon has sold $250 million worth of TKO stock as his official connection to WWE continues to dwindle away.
