Vince McMahon’s Lawyer Responds To Rumours Of Declining Health
Vince McMahon’s lawyer hits back at speculation.
In a recent video, Lee Cole claimed Linda McMahon had told people that her husband’s health was declining. Cole later suggested the information came from someone who worked for the McMahons for seven years.
Cole noted the comment was made by someone he and Linda McMahon have in common.
“Linda McMahon, somebody that her and I have in common, was talking to a person and telling them that her husband’s health is deteriorating fast,”
Vince McMahon’s lawyer, Jessica Rosenberg has now issued a statement stating that McMahon is “fine.”
“Vince’s health is fine. We have no idea where the rumor that he had health issues came from, but it is not true.”
In a follow-up, Cole said he’d received legal threats after making the comments, although he didn’t say where these threats came from. POST Wrestling spoke to Cole on August 15th, and he cast doubt on McMahon being able to back up his lawyer’s comments.
McMahon, who is 79, underwent back surgery in 2023 and was walking with a cane during his recovery.
Lee Cole is the brother of the late Tom Cole, who alleged he was sexually assaulted while working for WWE in the late 80s and early 90s when he was a minor. Tom Cole passed away due to suicide in 2021.
Vince McMahon/Janel Grant Legal Battle Continues
Meanwhile, the legal wrangling between Vince McMahon and Janel Grant is rumbling on despite the latter’s lawsuit currently being paused.
On August 7th, Dr. Carlon Colker filed a “fifteen-page verified complaint for the bill of discovery seeking documentation from Janel Grant.”
The move was a reaction to Janel Grant’s team filing a pre-action discovery petition against Dr. Carlon Colker and his clinic, Peak Wellness, Inc. on July 16th. This relates to claims from Grant that she was sent to the clinic by Vince McMahon in 2019 and given treatments that were not disclosed to her.
Grant then filed a motion to strike the motion and dismiss Colker’s bill of discovery.
McMahon’s lawyer said Grant was taking “frivolous action” against both her client and Dr. Colker.
Vince McMahon continues to deny any wrongdoing.
