Vince McMahon Enlists New PR Firm

Vince McMahon

Vince McMahon has made some changes.

Just hours before the premiere of “Mr. McMahon” on Netflix, it was reported by POST Wrestling that Vince McMahon had parted ways with PR firm Sitrick And Company. POST Wrestling noted that it was told by Sitrick that the firm was no longer working with McMahon on September 23rd.

It’s unclear when the split took place, although POST Wrestling has reached out for more details.

Attorney Jessica Taub Rosenberg is still representing McMahon as he continues his legal battle with Janel Grant.

Fast forward 24 hours and it has been reported by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer and POST Wrestling that McMahon has now recruited crisis management firm Edendale Strategies. Meltzer noted that McMahon made the decision to switch firms as he believed Edendale had a better grasp of modern media.

Edendale Strategies was founded in 2018 by Tony Freinberg.

Vince McMahon Issues Denial On Chris Benoit

During the documentary, Vince McMahon claimed that the murderers committed by Chris Benoit and his subsequent death had nothing to do with steroids or concussions. Instead, McMahon suggested Benoit “went nuts” when he killed his wife, young son, and then himself.

McMahon added that any footage showing Benoit taking shots to the head was a “complete work,” stating that talk of CTE was “ridiculous.”

Following a lawsuit filed by former WWE employee Janel Grant, McMahon is currently under a federal investigation regarding allegations of sex trafficking and sexual assault.
