Vince McMahon has made a serious move towards buying a new promotion.

The 79-year-old led WWE for multiple decades before selling the company to Endeavor in 2023 amid allegations of misconduct.

McMahon then officially left the Stamford-based company last year after being sued by former WWE employee Janel Grant for alleged sexual assault and sex trafficking.

The former WWE Chairman recently launched a new company, 14TH & I, while rumors suggested he was interested in reacquiring his former company if given the chance.

According to a recent report from Undisputed, McMahon recently attempted to buy a controlling interest in Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship. BKFC is an American bare-knuckle boxing promotion based in Philadelphia.

The promotion’s founder and president, David Feldman, detailed a recent meeting he had with the former WWE Chairman, disclosing that he declined the offer because he was not ready to relinquish full control of the promotion.

He’s a great guy, his whole team is great, but the timing wasn’t right for us. He’s Vince McMahon–if I were him, I’d want creative control, too. He was awesome, very complimentary, and he was very serious to do business.

Vince McMahon’s Son, Shane, Denied Willing To Start A New Promotion

Shane McMahon recently discussed his father’s plans in a brief interview with TMZ Sports. He did not rule out the possibility of Vince McMahon reacquiring WWE.

Meanwhile, Shane O’Mac addressed the rumors suggesting he and his father would start a new promotion together. He noted that these speculations were false.

You never know what’s going to happen out there. Of course, anything can happen in WWE. But those rumors are false.

Legendary journalist Bill Apter recently predicted that Vince McMahon would eventually run the Stamford-based company again.
