Vince McMahon Allowed Only One WWE Star To Break Major Rule
Vince McMahon is the reason why pro-wrestling promotions have a global reach today.
The Brahma Bull shot up to fame during Vince McMahon’s regime, and The Big Man had quite the faith in his talent.
The whole anti-hero persona worked great for The Rock, and he continues to hold that ‘Hollywood Heel’ image even today.
Vince McMahon allowed The Rock to break one major rule
The former WWE CEO was rather strict about how WWE superstars conducted themselves. He had the last word over everything, and not everyone was happy with all his policies.
While speaking on Behind The Turnbuckle, Jonathan Coachman revealed that Vince McMahon only allowed The Rock to walk into the building whenever he wanted to.
You guys want to know how hard The Rock worked and how invested you think Stone Cold was invested when The Rock would walk into the building and Vince, he was kind of the only one that was allowed to show up whenever he wanted to because Vince knew that whatever he was doing, it was about him on the show, whether it is working out in the morning for three hours, whether it’s doing uh a a a movie script read, whatever it was. And then when he would walk in the building, Vince, he had an entire schedule, and he would have a person from talent relations follow him around all day long.
Furthermore, they discussed that The Rock would wear one shirt once and then discard it. In fact, Coachman claimed that it’s possible he ensured it was WWE who paid for it.
It seems that The Rock may have had a better time under Vince McMahon, but Gunther claimed that working under The Big Man was a lost cause.
