Vince McMahon Accused Of Secret Affair With Ex-WWE Champion

Vince McMahon WWE

A massive accusation has been levelled against Vince McMahon.

The former WWE boss is already embroiled in a sexual assault and trafficking lawsuit filed by an ex-employee. Things don’t look too good for McMahon with new accusations coming his way.

Bret “The Hitman’ Hart has claimed that McMahon and Shawn Michaels were “sleeping with each other.”

Hart has left a lasting legacy in the wrestling business, but his journey has not been without major struggles.

One of the most shocking incidents in which he was involved occurred at the 1997 Survivor Series pay-per-view, where he was tricked into being thrown into a submission by Michaels, and the referee called for the bell without him tapping out.

The incident came to be known as the Montreal Screwjob and is a permanent stain on Vince McMahon.

On the anniversary of the Montreal Screwjob, Bret Hart was in the city to attend an event, where he made the stark revelation.

I think there’s more going on here between these two guys, honestly. And, um… I’m not trying to be— I’m just being honest and blunt. But I don’t know. I suspected, and now I really have serious— I think that Shawn and Vince were sleeping with each other. I honestly— I’m not… I’m just telling you. I think I’m very close to the truth here.

Ex-WWE Star Supports Vince McMahon’s Montreal Screwjob

Former WWE star Jacques Rougeau has previously supported Vince McMahon’s Montreal Screwjob incident.

The basic gist surrounding the incident is that McMahon worried about Bret Hart leaving WWE for WCW and taking the company’s top championship to the rival promotion.

While Hart has claimed that he was open to dropping the title to Shawn Michaels, he did not want to do it in his home country of Canada.

Unfortunately, McMahon’s paranoia got the best of him.

While speaking to WrestlingNews.co, Rougeau, who, at the time, worked in WCW, claimed that Vince McMahon had no other choice.

After everything that was given to Bret, all the opportunities, the titles, the exposure, Bret had to give the belt back in an honorable way.

That was the only decision to do, and I think Vince did the absolute right thing to do. He worked it with Hebner. He worked it with Earl Hebner. He worked it with Shawn Michaels and said, ‘Hey, Bret doesn’t want to do business. We have to do it in a different way’, and I agree a hundred miles an hour with what happened because you have to give back the belt honorably after holding it and everything Vince did with him and gave him.
