Vince McMahon Became A Predator Says WWE Icon Bret Hart

Vince McMahon WWE

Bret Hart has not held back on his thoughts on Vince McMahon, accusing the ex-WWE Chairman of becoming a predator.

Former WWE employee Janel Grant launched a lawsuit in early 2024 against Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis and WWE. In it, Grant detailed alleged sexual abuse suffered at the hands of McMahon. She also accused McMahon of setting up a sexual affair between her and then Head of Talent Relations, Lauriniaitis, in addition to claims that McMahon tried to use her as a pawn in contract negotiations with Brock Lesnar.

Recently, John Laurinaitis switched sides and agreed to co-operate with Grant, turning on McMahon in the process and offering to provide evidence against his former boss.

Bret Hart Thinks Vince McMahon Used Wrestling As A Backdrop For Evil

Speaking on The Rise Guys podcast, Bret Hart gave his thoughts on the whole sorry situation and says he finds what happened in WWE inexcusable, despite the fact he still has some amount of respect for Vince McMahon:

Everything that happened with John Laurinaitis and the things they were doing with that poor girl, shame on all of them. That’s just terrible. I’ve had all my ups and downs with Vince McMahon, and in a lot of ways, I have a lot of respect for him, but at the same time, I find what happened there inexcusable and there’s no place for that.

I think Vince McMahon became a predator and used wrestling as his backdrop for all of his evil. This tells me that too much money can turn you into a bad person.

Bret Hart has talked of his pride and punching Vince McMahon in the face in the aftermath of the Montreal Screwjob in 1997.
