The US Express will form part of the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2024.

It’s been announced that Barry Windham and Mike Rotunda will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as the US Express.

The pair formed the team back in 1983 while with Championship Wrestling From Florida. The duo went on to win tag team gold on three occasions before heading to the WWF. Rotunda and Windham won the World Tag Team Titles in January 1985 before being defeated by The Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff at WrestleMania I.

Despite the loss the pair remained in contention and won the titles back in June, although they reigned for only two months before being beaten by Greg “The Hammer” Valentine and Brutus Beefcake.

The pair wrestled their final WWF match together exactly one year after they debuted.

Barry Windham was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2012 as part of The Four Horsemen. Windham’s sister is married to Mike Rotunda meaning the pair are brothers-in-law, while Rotunda is the father of Bray Wyatt and Bo Dallas.

WWE Hall of Fame Taking Shape

Paul Heyman was the first person announced for the 2024 WWE Hall of Fame, before being joined on the list by Bull Nakano.

It’s been reported that Heyman has turned down several approaches from the company in the past, remaining adamant that he wouldn’t be inducted while he was still working.

The class of 2024 will be the first overseen by Triple H.
