Updated WWE WrestleMania Backlash Lineup for This Sunday – Lumberjack Match Added
The WWE WrestleMania Backlash pay-per-view takes place this Sunday, May 16 on Peacock/WWE Network. There are now six official matches on the card after one more match was added on WWE Raw last night.
The match that was added will see Damian Priest facing off against The Miz in a rivalry that has gone on for over three months now. Maybe it will end at WrestleMania Backlash. Since Priest beat John Morrison on Raw, he got to pick the stipulation for the match and Priest picked a Lumberjack Match so that Miz can’t run away from him.
Most WWE PPV events in this Thunderdome era have six or seven matches, so there might be another match added to the six matches already announced. We should find out on Smackdown this Friday.
The full lineup for WrestleMania Backlash looks like this:
WWE Universal Championship: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Cesaro
WWE Championship: Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Braun Strowman
Smackdown Women’s Championship: Bianca Belair (c) vs. Bayley
Raw Women’s Championship: Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Asuka vs. Charlotte Flair
Smackdown Tag Team Championships: Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode (c) vs. Rey & Dominik Mysterio
Lumberjack Match: Damian Priest vs. The Miz
You can watch WrestleMania Backlash this Sunday, May 16, beginning at 7pm ET/4pm PT, exclusively on Peacock in the United States and WWE Network everywhere else.
We will have a WrestleMania Backlash preview posted on Saturday and then I’ll have a review on Sunday night as well.
