Updated WWE Survivor Series Lineup: WWE Champion Drew McIntyre vs. Universal Champion Roman Reigns is Official
There were a few changes made to Sunday’s WWE Survivor Series lineup during last night’s edition of Raw. Survivor Series takes place this Sunday, November 22 at the Amway Center in Orlando and you can watch it on WWE Network.
The main event of Raw saw Drew McIntyre win back the WWE Championship to put an en end to Randy Orton’s 22-day reign as the champion. That win by McIntyre means that he will now face Universal Champion Roman Reigns at Survivor Series. It will likely be the main event.
Also, the Raw women’s team was changed because Dana Brooke and Mandy Rose were removed from the team. Rose was taken out when Shayna Baszler stomped on her arm. Rose hurt the arm during a segment on Raw last week. It’s not known if it’s serious injury that will keep Rose out for a long time, but she’s out on Sunday. Brooke was taken out when Reckoning (Mia Yim) attacked her backstage. It was announced later on Raw that Lacey Evans and Peyton Royce will be on the Raw team now joining Nia Jax, Shayna Baszler and Lana.
The lineup isn’t complete because there still needs to be some announcements from Smackdown. The men’s Smackdown team needs one more man to join Kevin Owens, Jey Uso, King Corbin and Seth Rollins. If I had to guess, that wrestler will be Big E, who hasn’t been in a match on Smackdown in the last three weeks. It would make sense for it to be Big E there.
Meanwhile, the Smackdown women’s team needs two more superstars in the match. The team has Bianca Belair, Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan on it so far with two more spots. I assume one of the spots will go to Bayley while Carmella could also be part of the match. They have other options too.
Here’s the lineup so far with thanks to @WWEonFox for the graphic below.
