Updated Lineup for WWE Payback This Sunday (Aug. 30) – No Holds Barred Universal Championship Match

There is another WWE pay-per-view coming this Sunday night. It’s rare to have a PPV coming seven days after SummerSlam took place this past Sunday, but for whatever reason WWE felt the need to do back to back Sunday night PPV shows on WWE Network. The start time is 7pm ET/6pm CT on WWE Network and it’s going to take place at the “WWE ThunderDome” setup at the Amway Center in Orlando.

The WWE Championship won’t be on the line at Payback since WWE Champion Drew McIntyre was part of an injury angle on Raw when Randy Orton punted him in the head three times in backstage segments. Orton will face Raw newcomer Keith Lee in a rematch of their Raw match that ended in a disqualification.

The main event is likely going to be from the Smackdown brand with “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt defending the Universal Championship against former Universal Champion Braun Strowman and the returning Roman Reigns, who hasn’t wrestled since early March.

Keith Lee vs. Randy Orton

Women’s Tag Team Championships: Sasha Banks and Bayley (c) vs. Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler

United States Championship: Apollo Crews (c) vs. Bobby Lashley

I believe Matt Riddle vs King Corbin will take place here as well. We could see an Intercontinental Title match as well.
