Major Update On WWE Star’s Future Amid Career-Ending Injury Concern
A new update has been given after reports suggested one WWE star might have to give up their career due to injury issues.
Injuries are a very real risk in the wrestling ring, as Jey Uso found out at WWE Wrestlepalooza when he busted himself open with a rebounding chair shot as he teamed with his brother Jimmy to take on Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.
Fightful Select recently lifted the lid on another injury worry in the company, with Piper Niven said to be out of action. Although details on her injury and how long it could keep her out of action were thin on the ground.
The last time Niven was in action in a WWE ring was back on the 22nd of August edition of SmackDown, where she picked up a win over Charlotte Flair. Since then, her Secret Hervice partners Chelsea Green and Alba Fyre have teamed up with each other, further indicating Niven’s absence.
Piper Niven Expected To Return In WWE
Initially, on Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez gave a worrying update on the Scottish star’s condition, noting that the injury could be career-ending:
What I can tell you is that there is concern it could be career-ending. So whatever it is, it’s serious. Hopefully she can come back, but she is out due to injury.
Now, Fightful has given another update on the situation, and thankfully, things sound more positive for Niven’s wrestling future, although her injury is still a serious one:
We’re told that while the injury is serious, those we spoke to believe she will return. It’s a neck injury, and she’s still awaiting an official diagnosis. We will respect the privacy of the performer beyond that.
During her absence, Chelsea Green has already advertised for new members to join her Secret Hervice.
