Update On Speculation Triple H Is Not Happy With WWE Star

A new report has cast more light on online speculation that Triple H has grown tired of one WWE Superstar’s recent performances.

Rumors took hold online recently that Triple H and WWE were unhappy at the latest repackaging of Lacey Evans on SmackDown. This latest iteration of Evans’ character is that of a hard-nosed former Marine that has little time or respect for anyone.

Lacey Evans has suffered from some start-stop booking ever since she returned after months out of action as she gave birth to her second child in June 2022, just weeks before Vince McMahon retired and Triple H took over the creative direction of the company. Her previous storyline before her hiatus involved a relationship with WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair who had turned against his daughter Charlotte Flair as part of the storyline.

Fightful Select has stated that in relation to “odd online speculation” in regard to Evans’ status, there is nothing to it and that those spreading the rumors are “non-credible.”

Lacey Evans was back in action after her outing at the 2023 Royal Rumble on the 10th of February edition of SmackDown where she defeated Carmen Harress. Harress was in actuality independent competitor B3cca, who chiefly competes on the north-east US independent scene and is the current Maryland Championship Wrestling Women’s Champion.
