Major Update On Roman Reigns’ WWE Clash in Paris Match

Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns is scheduled to face Bronson Reed in a Tribal Chief vs. Tribal Thief singles match at Clash In Paris.

The animosity between the two powerhouses began when Reed repeatedly antagonized Reigns by stealing his shoes and attacking him in brutal fashion over multiple weeks on Raw. The bout was officially announced on August 24, 2025, after Reigns called out Reed on Raw, setting the stage for a high-profile showdown at the August 31 premium live event in Paris, France.

That being said, according to early rundowns for WWE Clash in Paris 2025, as reported by Cory Hays of BodySlam.net, Roman Reigns vs. Bronson Reed is slated to open the show, providing an explosive start. Although no title is on the line, the bout carries significant narrative weight and will set the tone for the remainder of the event.

WWE or Hollywood? Roman Reigns Chooses Both

Roman Reigns was a recent guest on Stephanie McMahon’s podcastWhat’s Your Story?” where he discussed his ambition to successfully merge his WWE superstar career with Hollywood acting. He expressed a desire to be the first wrestler to lead a major film while simultaneously headlining WWE pay-per-views, juggling both demanding roles without sacrificing one for the other.

I wanted to be the first guy who could do both. I know John did it his way, but to really be able to do both and damn near lead a movie and also still main event a pay-per-view and have that responsibility. There’s a lot riding on that.

And I understand there’s insurances and all different things behind it but to be able to hold that type of responsibility and to be able to juggle both, I think that’s something that this generation and hopefully I’m one of the first to be able to do it. So I don’t want to stop being a WWE Superstar in order to wear other hats. I’m always gonna be a WWE Superstar. I’m always gonna be Roman Reigns. I don’t want to ever have to choose.

Reigns has appeared in several films, such as the 2019 blockbuster Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw as Mateo Hobbs, and comedies like The Wrong Missy (2020). He has also lent his voice to animated projects, including Elena of Avalor and Rumble. Reigns is scheduled to appear in the upcoming Street Fighter movie, which will also feature another WWE star, Cody Rhodes.
