Update On Reported Plans For Roman Reigns To Take WWE Break
A new report has offered some further clarity on how much action Roman Reigns seems likely to miss throughout the rest of this year.
Doubt was cast on the future of ‘The Head Of The Table’ when Dave Meltzer noted yesterday that the Unified WWE Universal Champion’s diary had cleared beyond 19th June and that he would be out of action until at least Labor Day in September.
This came about after a comment made by Roman Reigns at a recent live event, where he intoned that he may stop be a full-time member of the roster. The report from Meltzer commented that whilst Reigns was still currently advertised for Money In The Bank and SummerSlam, that could change if he wasn’t going to be appearing regularly on TV.
A new report from Andrew Zarian now contradicts the earlier report. Rather than taking time off completely, Zarian claims that Reigns will only be missing from house shows in smaller markets, and would still be appearing on TV and Premium Live Events.
Spoke to someone over at WWE regarding Roman & his schedule moving forward. It’s not expected for Roman to take extended time off. He will be on PLEs & TV. The only change will be with smaller market house show, which is why he showed his gratitude to the fans in Trenton NJ.
