Update On Ric Flair’s Health After Final Match
Following his last ever wrestling match ended in more than a little bloodshed, a new report has cast light on the condition of The Nature Boy Ric Flair.
On the 31st of July, Ric Flair was what was causing all this one last time as he took to the ring at 73 years of age to do battle with Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett whilst joined by his son-in-law Andrade El Idolo.
The bout allowed Flair to play the hits one last time and in typical Nature Boy fashion that meant him losing some blood as the match wore on. In the end, it was Flair’s other son-in-law and podcast king Conrad Thompson who brought out some brass knucks that allowed Flair to knock out Jarrett.
Ric Flair then locked in one last Figure Four on J-E-Double-F with veteran official Mike Chioda making the three-count with the KO’d Jarrett’s shoulders on the mat.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider has reported that Flair is “great” following the bout according to one source who spoke with the WWE Hall of Famer after the show.
Two doctors were said to be on hand for Flair and they began an immediate check-up on The Nature Boy as soon as he returned backstage. After taking some time to recover Ric Flair told others he was starving and ready to go out to eat – something he alluded to during his post-match comments on screen.
