Update On Karrion Kross’ WWE Future As Contract Nears Expiry
An update about Karrion Kross’ time in WWE is here.
Over the last few months, it was reported that Kross’ contract with the Stamford-based company was up for renewal sometime in 2025. Now, it’s been revealed that so is Scarlett’s.
Not being featured in a storyline or consistent booking cast a shadow on his future.
This stint of Kross is his second with WWE, after being brought back in August 2022. He was then engaged in a feud with Drew McIntyre until early November.
With each passing year, his appearances saw a decline; as of June 2025, he has wrestled in only 10 matches.
According to Fightful Select, both Karrion Kross and Scarlett are expected to receive a contract extension.
A couple of indicators of it include the couple’s regular appearances on WWE programming of late and Kross getting new merchandise.
Karrion Kross’ and Scarlett’s deals with WWE are set to expire in August of this year.
Those spoken to within the company expect that Kross & Scarlett will stay, as Kross has been featured regularly on programming, was on #WWENOC, and has new merchandise.

Kross is currently involved in a storyline with Sami Zayn, whom he fought and lost to at WWE Night of Champions.
Karrion Kross Blown Away By Fan Reception In Saudi Arabia
Amidst contract talks, Kross focused his energy on reliving his time recently in Saudi Arabia.
The Herald of Doomsday was on Busted Open Radio, where he revealed feeling amazed by the reception from fans.
It felt amazing. A lot of times, when I’m about to walk out through the curtain, especially recently, I don’t know what is going to be coming at me. I have no idea. I know it’s going to be something. It’s going to be boos or cheers, but for the last couple of months, it’s been an overwhelming amount of support and cheers. [H/T: 411mania.com]
Despite his recent loss, Kross remains upbeat and even thanked the fans for their continued support.
