Update On Jeff Hardy Possibly Going Back To WWE
Seeing as how TNA is sinking faster than the Titanic, it’s no surprise that Jeff Hardy (according to various reports from ProWrestling.net following his recent WrestleCade appearance) is opening up about being more willing than ever to return to WWE. This also includes a deal which would see him working a full-time schedule, something that has previously halted his return.
TNA is also getting kicked off of Destination America (they want to focus on their crappy, fake ghost shows), and has been picked up by Pop TV. I don’t even know what friggin channel that is or what cable providers actually carry it, but congratulations Dixie Carter!
It’s also worth noting that Jeff Hardy’s TNA contract is set to expire before WrestleMania 32, but fans shouldn’t take that as confirmation that he will be back as soon as possible. Typically there are clauses in place preventing talent from immediately working with another company. It would probably be too late to work him into a major storyline anyway, but his return would make for an awesome night-after WrestleMania surprise appearance.
Take this bit with a grain of salt, but it’s also rumored that Jeff Hardy’s torn PCL will require surgery, keeping him out of action for roughly nine months.
Either way, it’s going to be fun seeing him back in a WWE ring; he can still perform at a high level, especially after kicking all of those nasty drug habits. Not to mention, Jeff was at one point the most popular wrestler on the roster, so having him back in WWE would undoubtedly bring a much-needed boost of charisma to the show. He still has a rabid fanbase.
