Backstage Update On CM Punk’s IMPACT Wrestling Visit
CM Punk has been on something of a wrestling tour recently and a new report has given more information on his recent IMPACT Wrestling visit.
Punk made headlines when he visited WWE Raw in his hometown of Chicago despite his history with the company and his current status as an AEW star who is imminently set to return to the company. The former WWE Champion was said to have spoken with Triple H and buried the hatchet with The Miz before security informed him he couldn’t stay any longer.
Now Fightful Select has provided more information on CM Punk’s more recent visit to IMPACT Wrestling where he was backstage on the night Trinity made her debut for the promotion. The report notes that Punk was involved in a game of Uno and spoke to over a dozen wrestlers while he was there.
The report continued that Punk was said to be in a good mood and happy to be there and it was confirmed that there are no plans for him to work with the promotion.
CM Punk is believed to be the centerpiece of the upcoming Saturday night AEW Collision show that is rumored to be beginning in June.
