Unusual Reason Given For Triple H’s WWE Booking Struggles
Triple H might have something working against him as he tries to book several top WWE stars in the best way.
Triple H is the man in charge of WWE’s creative direction and won plenty of plaudits for his work soon after taking over that role from his father-in-law, Vince McMahon.
However, in recent months, The Game has been criticised for how several stars have been booked. Many fans were not happy that Jey Uso’s World Heavyweight Title run was cut short or that Karrion Kross struggled for TV time despite getting over with fans.
And now, a potential reason for Triple H’s struggles has been given.
Triple H Just Isn’t Cool
Speaking on Coach & Bro, former WWE writer Vince Russo has suggested that Triple H struggles to book effectively for the cooler characters on the roster because the man himself is anything but:
I’m not saying this in a harsh or negative way. I worked with Triple H for a very long time. Triple H is not cool. His character is cool, two completely different things. Paul Levesque is not a cool dude.
So now, when you have characters that are organically cool and you’re not cool yourself, you might have some problems in booking those characters. That’s logic, that’s not a dig against Triple H, these guys are cool. They need to be written for in a cool style.
