Unlikely WWE Star Earns Title Shot In 10 Seconds

WWE SmackDown saw a major shock as a title contender was decided after just ten seconds!

Giulia has held the WWE Women’s United States Championship since she defeated Zelina Vega for the title on the 27th of June edition of SmackDown. Giulia has only competed on WWE television twice since then, but now she knows which star is coming after her title.

Ahead of Clash In Paris, SmackDown is taking place in Lyon, where Michin has faced Kiana James in a match that ended as soon as it began. Giulia’s ally attempted to nail Michin with a loaded purse, only to get rolled up and defeated in a matter of seconds. This win means Michin will now get a shot at Giulia’s title.

James and Giulia had the last laugh on the night as they attacked Michin after the bout. Things ended when the WWE Women’s US Champion drove Michin’s face into the ringside steps.

What Else Happened On WWE SmackDown?

Charlotte Flair was pulled from a planned title match on SmackDown after she was attacked by the Secret Hervice. This did not do Alba Fyre and Piper Niven any favours, however, as their title match was cancelled and instead Alexa Bliss took on Chelsea Green in a one-on-one bout.

John Cena confronted Logan Paul ahead of their match in Paris, with Cena laying into Paul on the microphone and offering The Maverick a surprising teachable moment.
