Uncle Howdy Delivers Ominous Message On WWE SmackDown

A video aired on WWE SmackDown featuring Uncle Howdy delivering a message for the tag team division.

When The Wyatt Sicks group returned on the May 23rd edition of WWE SmackDown, they surprisingly ruined the WWE Tag Team Title match between The Street Profits and Fraxiom. It was their first appearance in five months, and they destroyed both teams, as well as the Motor City Machine Guns and #DIY.

The Wyatt Sicks are led by Uncle Howdy (Bo Dallas in a creepy mask), who is joined by Dexter Lumis, Joe Gacy, Erick Rowan, and Nikki Cross.

On the following May 30th edition of SmackDown, Uncle Howdy dropped Nathan Frazer with the Sister Abigail neckbreaker to conclude another attack by The Wyatt Sicks on the SmackDown tag team division.

There was no attack by The Wyatt Sicks on SmackDown in Bakersfield, but Uncle Howdy appeared as Bo Dallas without the mask on his face.

Howdy said that grief is a festering wound that is continually ripped open, likely as a reference to his late brother Bray Wyatt. Howdy said you don’t forget, you can only accept that which cannot be changed.

The promo continued as Howdy said he had watched the tag team division and wondered if that bond was unbreakable. Howdy said from loss, they have become a family, with “they” being the Wyatt Sicks group. Howdy claimed that they returned not for nostalgia or closure but to take what they were owed. Howdy told the other tag teams that their brotherhood would be tested, the time for repentance had passed, and they would accept their condemnation.

At the end of the message, Dallas had a final thought: “We will not be forgotten.”

How Did WWE Tag Teams React To Uncle Howdy’s Warning?

The next scene on the show featured the four top tag teams (The Street Profits, Fraxiom, Motor City Machine Guns and #DIY), who were backstage talking with SmackDown GM Nick Aldis. They were watching that video together.

Montez Ford of the WWE Tag Team Champions, The Street Profits, advised against focusing on their Tag Team Titles for now, as they all had a bigger problem on their hands. Angelo Dawkins said if the Wyatt Family wants the smoke, they can get it.

Fraxiom suggested that they could teach The Wyatts a lesson. Motor City Machine Guns said that they want to get their hands on The Wyatts too.

That led to #DIY’s Tommaso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano, with Candice LeRae saying any of those three teams facing The Wyatts is a great idea. The #DIY guys left.

There was nothing officially announced by GM Aldis, but it sounds like the tag teams on SmackDown will focus on The Wyatt Sicks group and figure out how to slow them down.
