Uncertainty Surrounds Jade Cargill, Rumours Of Backstage Issues Emerge
Yet another conflicting report has emerged regarding Jade Cargill.
On the November 22nd episode of SmackDown Jade Cargill was seemingly taken out by a mystery assailant, and left lying broken across the hood of a car in the parking lot. The star has since been replaced in the women’s WarGames match and written out of the Women’s United States Title tournament.
However, conflicting reports have emerged on the star’s status and the truth appears hard to find.
While it was initially reported that Cargill had suffered a legitimate injury, this was quickly contradicted. A further report stated there had been “incorrect reporting” around the subject, and Jade Cargill was “100% not injured.”
Jade Cargill Surrounded By Conflicting Reports
In the latest report on the increasingly bizarre situation in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer noted three versions of the story have been doing the rounds. Meltzer said he’s been told that Cargill is injured, and will be out for at least three months. There have been claims the injury is being kept incredibly secret, and one higher-up suggested all stories denying an injury are false.
There’s even been speculation that Cargill is involved in some kind of “political backstage issue.”
One was that, as is usually the case with WWE parking lot attacks, that it’s a storyline cover for a real injury. However, this one has been kept secretive. One person in WWE mentioned to us that it seems like nobody, including her friends, knows what the injury actually is or why it happened.
Another higher-up said 100 percent that she is injured and the stories denying it are false. Another version is that the injury was created to cover for a political backstage issue.
Meltzer surmised that for the latter to be given any kind of credence, Cargill’s partnership with Bianca Belair would be broken up.
