Unbelievable Reason Why WWE May Have Buried LA Knight
WWE has recently been subject to major backlash from fans and critics for its booking of LA Knight
LA Knight is a rising WWE superstar and is organically over with the fans due to his charisma, in-ring work and overall persona. Many fans feel that he channels the likes of WWE legends such as The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin through his inventive, confident promos. But despite his natural allure from the fans, WWE hasn’t given LA Knight a major push into the main event scene.
The Megastar is a two-time United States Champion, and after a win against Seth Rollins, many felt that his time for a push had arrived. But what happened was the exact opposite, as WWE decided to completely bury Knight by firstly having him lose the final match of the Last Time Is Now tournament to determine John Cena’s final opponent followed by a backstage decimation by Bronson Reed and Logan Paul of The Vision last week on RAW in which he was put through a table and Tsunami splashed on top of a car.
To top it all off, WWE have now written LA Knight off television with a kayfabe injury to the sternum. Fans are befuddled by this treatment of one of their favourite wrestlers and sense a sort of conspiracy in the works.
Former Wrestling Manager Dutch Mantell Shares His Thoughts on LA Knight’s Burial
Duth Mantell, known as Zeb Colter in his time with WWE, was speaking to YouTube wrestling personality James Romero on his show Story Time With Dutch Mantell. Romero asks Mantell if the theory going around that LA Knight was purposely buried because he got over with the fans without WWE’s permission is true. To which Mantell responded saying that it’s an old school way and that’s gone with Vince Mcmahon.
“Well, I think that’s old school. I think that’s when Vince was still there, right? Probably, Vince didn’t. He didn’t care much for it.” (04:30 to 04:42)
According to Bodyslam+, WWE plan to Book Knight as a top star on their RAW brand. It remains to be seen how and when they get Knight back to WWE programming.
