Tyson Fury Wants The Rock

The Rock Tyson Fury

Boxing’s two-time World Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury says he wants to go one-on-one with The Great One as he would love to mix it up with The Rock.

The Gypsy King currently boasts an undefeated 33-0 record in the boxing ring, having last fought in April 2022 when he defeated Dillian Whyte by TKO in Wembley Stadium.

Tyson Fury is no stranger to the wrestling world either having competed for WWE at 2019’s Crown Jewel event where he defeated former Universal Champion Braun Strowman by count out. Fury and Drew McIntyre have teased facing off with one another but nothing else has happened between the two British stars as of yet.

Appearing on Good Morning Britain, Tyson Fury explained that he was set to compete in some “exhibition” boxing bouts, putting the emphasis on entertainment rather than on competition. Fury ran down a list of some boxing greats that he wants to step in the ring with before getting to WWE icon, The Rock:

“So I’m looking at fighting Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis, Frank Bruno, whoever. The Rock Dwayne Johnson, that’d be fantastic. You never know who we could be fighting on one of these shows.”

The Rock has not competed in a WWE ring since his impromptu match with Erick Rowan at WrestleMania 32. Despite that, rumours of him lacing up his boots one more time at WrestleMania 39 in 2023 continue to run rampant.
