Tyrus Calls Out “Woke Hater Trolls” Following NWA Worlds Heavyweight Title Win
New NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion and FOX News personality Tyrus has hit out at what he calls “woke hater trolls” following his title win.
Tyrus won the first world championship of his career at NWA’s Hard Times 3 pay-per-view when he captured the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship in a three-way match with former champion Trevor Murdoch and Matt Cardona.
The NWA star is best known among wrestling fans for portraying the dancing ‘Funkasaurus’ Brodus Clay in WWE where he competed between 2010 and 2014.
With Tyrus’ title win not meeting with universal approval from the wrestling community, the star took to social media to send a message to those not happy with his new-found status as NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion:
“I know what da woke haters trolls cheer for. their boos and hate builds my self esteem! Gives me focus! makes me strong! I’ll keep winning y’all keep watching the New York Times bestselling author #1 late night show and New @nwa world heavyweight champion #tyrussmash#nuffsaid”

The NWA has been under the microscope in recent days given the announcement by long-time NWA Worlds Champion Nick Aldis that he would be leaving the promotion, prompting a robust defence of the company by owner Billy Corgan.
