Two WWE Stars Wanted By New Promotion

A new promotion is looking to book two WWE stars.

On May 20th, Dream Star Fighting Marigold held its first event at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo. It’s widely believed there’s a working agreement between the new promotion led by Rossy Ogawa and WWE, and to celebrate the show, several Superstars sent flowers.

Marigold’s next event, Summer Destiny, will be held at Ryogoku Kokugikan on July 13th and the promotion is looking to land two of Triple H’s top female stars for the occasion.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported Ogawa is trying to secure the services of Kairi Sane and IYO SKY for the show. Meltzer added that there’s still no chance of Asuka heading back to Japan with Marigold as she hates Ogawa.

“Obviously they want to get somebody from WWE as a big draw for this Sumo Hall show. The two would be Kairi Sane and IYO SKY, one or the other.

Asuka hates Rossy Ogawa, so there’s no chance of that one happening. Well, very little chance.

But it’ll be interesting to see if WWE allows its talent to work, considering they’re supposed to be working together.

The four big shows a year, this being the first one, those are the ones that they want. If any WWE talent is on, it’d be a one-shot, big show thing.”

New WWE Signing Suffers Injury

Meanwhile, it’s been revealed that WWE’s new signing Giulia has broken her wrist. The star suffered the injury during the main event of Marigold’s first show where she teamed with Utami Hayashishita in a loss to Sareee and Bozilla.

Giulia will be out indefinitely, likely pushing back her planned debut for the sports entertainment giant. It had previously been reported the star would make her in-ring debut at NXT Heatwave on July 7th.

There is no word on when Giulia will be back in action.
