Two More WWE Stars Advance In King & Queen Of The Ring Tournaments
The WWE King and Queen of the Ring tournaments continue.
At a WWE live event on May 11th in Chattanooga, Tennessee, LA Knight got the better of Santos Escobar to move into the quarter-finals of the King of the Ring. Knight will now meet Tama Tonga on the May 17th episode of SmackDown.
Tonga won his own first-round match 24 hours earlier, seeing off the challenge of Angelo Dawkins. The Street Profits star was a late addition to the tournament after Bobby Lashley was forced to pull out due to injury.
On the same card, Tiffany Stratton defeated Michin to advance to the quarter-finals of the Queen of the Ring. Up next for Stratton is a huge match with Bianca Belair — also on the upcoming episode of SmackDown. Belair got past Candice LeRae in the first round.
More Qualifying Matches Set For WWE Live Event On May 12th

Mysterio or Kingston will face Gunther in the quarter-finals, while Baszler of Vega will book a clash with Iyo Sky.
