Two Prominent WWE Stars Suffer Injuries At Survivor Series

The OG Bloodline celebrate at WWE Survivor Series

Survivor Series was a rough night for two WWE stars.

Following victories for Team Rhea Ripley, Shinsuke Nakamura, Gunther, and Bron Breakker, all attention turned to Bloodline warfare inside WarGames in the main event.

The action kicked off with Jey Uso and Tama Tonga before Bronson Reed joined the party. The giant Australian was an unstoppable wrecking ball, smashing through the steel chairs Jey repeatedly threw at him. Thankfully for the OG Bloodline, Jimmy Uso was in next and The Usos took control of the match.

Tonga Loa went to enter next but he was blocked by Solo Sikoa who sent in Jacob Fatu. The discontent was then mirrored in the opposite cage as Reigns stopped Punk from entering next, instead giving a nod to Sami Zayn. The Honorary Uce entered like a house on fire, but Fatu checked his momentum, until Tonga Loa finally got his time to shine, entering the match with a table.

As the clock ran down again, Reigns went to enter the match, only for Punk to run past him and into the action. Punk grabbed a toolbox and even hit a Bulldog on Fatu onto it, but he popped right up. Finally into the chaos was Sikoa and then Reigns, as the match truly began. But not before the Tribal Chief had to enter over the double cage as Sikoa had locked the door.

With the partnership between Punk and Reigns uneasy at best, Paul Heyman urged the pair to work together, but that didn’t stop Reigns from accidentally hitting a Spear on his teammate.

As the action ramped up, Fatu botched a Step-Up Moonsault before Reed looked to hit a Tsunami from the cage through a table on Reigns. However, Punk made the save and Reed crashed and burned. Eventually, Jimmy sent Jacob Fatu through a table from the top of the cage before the OG Bloodline turned their attention to Sikoa.

The new Tribal Chief was hit with Superkicks, a Helluva Kick, GTS, and a Spear leaving Roman Reigns to get the victory for his team.

Injuries Mar WWE Survivor Series

While The Bloodline got the win, it was quickly reported that it came at a cost. In the post-show press conference, Jey Uso revealed that Jimmy broke his toe when he jumped from the cage, but there is even more concerning news regarding Bronson Reed.

A report from Fightful Select noted that Reed suffered injuries to one and possibly both of his ankles when he made his own leap from the cage. The star was helped to the back following the match.

There is better news on Jacob Fatu after he heavily sold his leg after his mistimed leap. While this wasn’t planned, Fatu is said to be fine.
