Surprising Truth Revealed Over Seth Rollins Injury
Is Seth Rollins really injured? The answer to that question might have now been revealed.
Seth Rollins appeared to suffer a serious injury at Saturday Night’s Main Event in his match with LA Knight. Rollins suffered an awkward landing on his knee, and he quickly retreated to the corner where he was checked on by a referee and ringside doctor.
LA Knight quickly won the match with a BFT to bring things to an end. However, one report has suggested that Rollins’ injury might be a part of a WWE storyline. But could the truth lie somewhere in the middle?
Seth Rollins Back Sooner Than WWE Will Let On
Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez explained what he knew about the situation and suggested that Rollins was injured, just not in his match with LA Knight:
I asked around a lot today as well and everyone is insisiting that he is hurt. We were told he was hurt and everyone is saying yes, he is hurt. There’s also the John Pollack story – well there is a third option which somebody today told me is what happened.
They say the reason these stories are conflicting is because he is hurt but what happened on Saturday was a storyline. Meaning he is hurt but he did not get hurt on that spot, that spot was a cover for an injury that he has which he will have worked on and so the idea that was suggested is he will be out of action for a little while but they are gonna say like nine months or whatever, but he will be back much sooner than that.
Dave Meltzer followed up and noted WWE could have plans to ensure nobody will expect Seth Rollins to cash in his Money In The Bank contract:
One of the things I was told was basically, the [Money In The Bank] cash-in will come out of nowhere.
