Truth About Bobby Lashley’s Status In AEW
The truth about Bobby Lashley’s status in AEW has now been revealed.
Bobby Lashley has been a dominant force since he joined AEW in late 2024. He has since reunited with his Hurt Syndicate colleagues Shelton Benjamin and MVP, winning the AEW World Tag Team Championship with Benjamin in January 2025.
The pair held that gold until August, when Brodido captured the title in a three-way match also featuring FTR. Lashley was last in the ring at Full Gear in November 2025 when he was part of the Casino Gauntlet match to crown the inaugural AEW National Champion.
In the end, it was Ricochet that escaped with that gold. And now it seems AEW fans won’t be seeing Bobby Lashley for quite some time.
Bobby Lashley Really Hurt
Fightful Select has reported that Lashley is legitimately injured. No specifics were shared about the nature of Lashley’s injury, but it was noted that he’s going to miss “quite a bit of time” from the ring.
This is only going to add to Tony Khan’s headaches when it comes to injuries on his roster. After an extended absence, Wardlow made his shock return at Forbidden Door to take out Prince Nana and join The Don Callis Family. However, the former TNT Champion immediately injured himself on his return, and he’s now expected to be missing for several more months.
Tony Khan had to make a change to the AEW Women’s Tag Team Title tournament after one star suffered a torn UCL.
