Truth About 4-Time WWE Champion Being The Masked Man Revealed

WWE Masked Man Superkick

There is some more info about who may or may not have been the masked man on WWE Monday Night Raw.

The masked man’s story began at WWE Survivor Series, during the Men’s WarGames match, when a person covered from head to toe attacked CM Punk. The masked assailant hit Punk with a superkick and The Stomp. Those are moves that former World Champion Seth Rollins does, but Rollins is out of action after shoulder surgery, so the assumption is that it’s not him.

Thanks to the masked man, Bron Breakker of The Vision beat Punk with a Spear to give Paul Heyman’s team the win.

It was reported after WarGames that the masked man at Survivor Series was the former US Champion Austin Theory, who has been out of action for several months. Theory fits in with The Vision as a guy in his late 20s with a bright future, just like Breakker, Bronson Reed, and Logan Paul.

On the December 8th edition of WWE Monday Night Raw, the masked attacker made his presence felt again by helping Logan Paul during his fight with Rey Mysterio. The masked attacker hit Rey with a superkick and The Stomp, leading Paul to beat up the WWE Hall of Famer.

Later on Raw, Logan Paul beat LA Knight in a match thanks to the masked man hitting The Stomp on Knight on the commentary table. The referee was busy doing other things and never saw it. Paul capitalized with a Frog Splash off the top for the win.

WWE Masked Man Was Likely Not Montez Ford After All

Following the two attacks on Raw, it was reported that Montez Ford of The Street Profits tag team (with Angelo Dawkins) was the masked attacker on Raw. The Street Profits are 4-time WWE Tag Team Champions (3 on the main roster, 1 in NXT) and haven’t been seen on SmackDown for several months.

However, Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Live got some new information that it wasn’t Ford under the mask on Raw.

“Monday, another mystery man showed up, and it was not Austin Theory. Now, if you go on social media, I swear to God, everybody was trying to figure out who the new mystery man was, based on his butt, yes, and everybody concluded that the new mystery man was Montez Ford.

I could tell you right now that I don’t know who the mystery man was on Monday, but was told specifically it was not Montez Ford.

So those of you that have been investigating the butt of the mystery man, you got the wrong butt so try again.”

It has also been reported that WWE has intentionally used different people under the black mask to throw people off. Until the big reveal happens, the company could continue to use different people under the mask.
