Incredible Stat Regarding Trish Stratus’ Win At WWE Night Of Champions
Trish Stratus picked up a big at WWE Night of Champions when she defeated Becky Lynch in a huge singles match.
The second match at WWE Night of Champions saw WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus face “The Man” Becky Lynch in a grudge match. Stratus had been a tag team partner of Lynch until Trish turned on her following a Tag Team Title match loss, which is what led to their showdown at Night of Champions.
At Night of Champions, Trish defeated Becky due to the surprising interference of Raw newcomer Zoey Stark, which likely means there will be a Stratus-Stark alliance coming. Stratus was drafted to the Raw brand earlier this month, so it appears as if she will be sticking around WWE for the time being.
Prior to WWE Night of Champions, the WWE Stats account on Twitter mentioned the last time Stratus won a singles match.
Tomorrow at #WWENOC, Hall of Famer @trishstratuscom will be looking for her 1st singles victory in a @WWE ring since defeating @AmyDumas at Unforgiven ’06.
Since then, she is on an 0-2 streak in 1-on-1 matches, so she hasn’t yet won a singles match as a Hall of Famer.

At Unforgiven in September 2006 in Toronto (Trish’s hometown), Trish Stratus beat her best friend/top rival Lita by submission to become the WWE Women’s Champion one more time. That was also the night when Trish retired as a full-time WWE superstar after six years in the company.
That means for the first time in nearly 17 years, Trish Stratus won a singles match at Night of Champions. It’s a lot of years between singles wins, but it’s also because Trish had a long period of inactivity as well.
Since retiring as a full-timer in 2006, Trish has been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame and has given birth to a son and daughter. Trish has actually competed in 15 matches since retirement, including last night’s victory over Lynch.
The two singles match losses above include the memorable SummerSlam 2019 match against Charlotte Flair in Toronto. The other Trish singles loss mentioned above was from the March 14, 2011 edition of Raw when Trish lost to Vickie Guerrero (in a No DQ Match) due to interference from Laycool’s Michelle McCool and Layla.
While it is not known when Trish Stratus will compete in a singles match again, it appears that her feud with Becky Lynch is far from over, so we could see the rematch again at some point this year.
