Trish Stratus Roasts Bayley For WrestleMania 35 Incident

Trish Stratus recently returned to WWE television to join forces with old friend Lita and Becky Lynch in their battle with Bayley and Damage CTRL and Stratus clearly is not holding back.

On the 27th of February edition of Raw Becky Lynch and Lita challenged IYO SKY and Dakota Kai of Damage CTRL for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.

With that match taking place, Bayley provided an edge for Damage CTRL on the outside of the ring, with her interventions in the bout looking to prove ever more decisive. However, she was stopped in her tracks when Trish Stratus emerged to even the odds and take out The Role Model.

In the ring, IYO SKY was locked in the Disarm-her by Becky Lynch which allowed Lita to hit a huge moonsault on Kai to pick up the win. With that victory, Lita captured her first championship in WWE since 2006.

It has since been confirmed that Trish Stratus will team with Becky Lynch and Lita and WrestleMania 39 to take on Damage CTRL in a six-woman tag team match.

Bayley took to social media to remind Stratus of the aftermath of WrestleMania 35 when the veteran helped the star through a tough loss. Bayley and Sasha Banks had lost the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship at the event and reports at the time had suggested the pair had been crying on the floor of the locker room and later in the hotel lobby, claims Banks, at least, denied.

Stratus fired back at Bayley, however, and all but confirmed that tears were indeed shed that night in New York City:

“Yah I remember. Well, at least you already know what if feels to lose at #WrestleMania… maybe you can CTRL your tears better this year.”
