Trish Stratus isn’t retired.

At the start of 2023, Trish Stratus returned to WWE television for what was supposed to be not much more than a short cameo, but the situation changed quickly. After coming back in February, Stratus embarked on what was essentially a full-time run opposite Becky Lynch.

That rivalry culminated in a Cage Match at Payback that Lynch won, although the pair received praise far and wide for their performances.

Since then fans have been speculating if and when the veteran would be back. And according to the woman herself, one more run isn’t out of the question.

During a new interview with Rick Ucchino for The Takedown on SI, Stratus looked back on her rivalry with Lynch before getting into what would make her want to come back.

The star refused to rule out getting back in the ring but admitted topping her latest run would be difficult.

“I have to be able to deliver a hundred percent. Then also, it has to be something challenging and different for the fans. And it has to do something and mean something.

To leave off on this epic moment that’s memorable and people talk about it, it’s hard. Like, what can top that?” I think it’s like examining the landscape and seeing what works best for everyone.

There’s so many parties to consider. The person that is in the storyline, the WWE. It’s really collaborative,”

Trish Stratus Wants To Get “Rag-Dolled” By WWE Star

Speaking elsewhere, Trish Stratus heaped praise on Nia Jax before revealing an unusual wish. The WWE Hall of Famer said she’d be unable to consider herself properly retired before she gets rag-dolled by the Women’s Champion.

During the same interview, Stratus suggested she’d likely be back with WWE sometime in 2025 but doesn’t what that comeback might look like.

Stratus is a seven-time Women’s Champion, and former Hardcore Champion, and she was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013.
