Triple H Considers WWE Star “Family” Despite Outside Commitments

Triple H WWE Raw press conference

Triple H has declared his love for a WWE star.

In early June, Pat McAfee disappeared from the commentary desk on Monday Night Raw, leaving Corey Graves to fill in alongside Michael Cole.

As his absence continued, on an episode of his podcast, Pat McAfee cited exhaustion as the reason behind his absence. As a result, there have been suggestions that the star may never return to WWE on a full-time basis.

However, there was no way he was going to miss WWE’s return to Indianapolis.

Triple H Delighted To Have Pat McAfee Back

As confirmed by Triple H in the weeks building up to the event, McAfee was back at the commentary table when Wrestlepalooza went on the air. However, he left the action after the third match, leaving Michael Cole and the also-returning Wade Barrett to carry things home.

During the Wrestlepalooza post-show, Triple H made sure to praise McAfee, describing him as “family.” He added that it’s only ever a good time when the star is able to come back to the company.

ā€œI also wanna mention Pat McAfee. The only thing that I can really say about Pat is that he is family here in WWE. He is every bit of family for us. Love Pat to death, and you know, any time he can come and do something with us, it is off the chart good.”

While speaking after the event, Triple H revealed that Stephanie Vaquer had been battling an illness in recent weeks. This ultimately led her to miss an advertised appearance on Raw, which sparked speculation that she was dealing with an injury.

At Wrestlepalooza, Vaquer beat Iyo Sky to claim the Women’s World Championship for the first time.
