Triple H Gives WWE Royal Rumble Backstage Access
The WWE cameras were following Triple H during Royal Rumble week and it featured some incredible backstage footage.
It was a big week for WWE going into the Royal Rumble in Indianapolis and that’s especially true for the company’s Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque.
A few days before the Royal Rumble, Triple H was surprised by his good friends Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker, who informed “The Game” that he’s going to be headlining the 2025 WWE Hall of Fame class.
In a video posted on YouTube and WWE social media channels, the cameras were for Raw, the Hall of Fame announcement, Smackdown before the Royal Rumble, and the Royal Rumble event itself.
The video features Triple H greeting many celebrities like rappers Quavo & Lil Yachty and also Tyrese Haliburton of the NBA’s Indiana Pacers.
There was also a scene where Hunter was getting his head shaved and his beard trimmed. He spoke about how his legendary WWE Hall of Famer trainer Killer Kowalksi taught him to take a deep breath and soak in the moment before you perform at the show. It’s something that Hunter tells current WWE stars as well to help them with their nerves.
During the Royal Rumble part, there are clips of Triple H interacting with a lot of the talent including Trish Stratus and John Cena along with Rumble match winners Jey Uso and Charlotte Flair.
Hunter also showed concern when streamer IShowSpeed was put into the Royal Rumble and took a devastating spear from Bron Breakker. He was speaking into his headset: “Is he okay? Somebody tell me if IShowSpeed is ok. He seems ok.”
Triple H posted on X/Twitter to promote the video as well.
Every week in @WWE is busy…but #RoyalRumble week was absolutely PACKED.
Can’t say enough about our Superstars, crew on the road, and team in Stamford who made this week so special.

Triple H Has Earned His Spot As WWE’s Boss
Arn Anderson has known Triple H for over 30 years going back to when Hunter was known as Jean Paul Levesque in WCW in the mid-1990s. Arn is a WWE Hall of Famer who recently spoke about how Triple H is the right man for the job that he has in WWE.
“The evolution that he’s had… to be in the saddle where he is right now—you’ve got a wrestling person with a wrestling mind, but he’s smart enough, and he’s learned so much about the business, he’s into every other aspect—the marketing, you name it. He is a well-rounded boss.”
“If somebody asked me, ‘If it wasn’t him, who would you put in that seat?’ nobody comes to mind. He’s doing a phenomenal job across the board, and I’m sure TKO is very happy to have him and thrilled to have him because he’s a leader.”
The next major show that Triple H will run for WWE is Elimination Chamber on March 1st in Toronto. After that, it’s WrestleMania 41 from Las Vegas on April 19 & 20, which will also feature Hunter’s WWE Hall of Fame speech at some point during that weekend.
