Triple H Reacts To WWE Fan Theories About Chad Gable Getting Attacked On Raw
The Wyatt Sicks attacking Chad Gable on WWE Raw led to some interesting theories that Triple H addressed during a recent interview.
When The Wyatt Sicks made their debut on the June 17th edition of WWE Raw, they were shown backstage where several people were out on the floor looking like they were decimated by the group.
Chad Gable looked like he was hurt the most since he was passed out against a case of some kind while there was a huge gash on the right side of his head. That led to a lot of fans making interesting claims, silly theories, and comical memes about Gable.
Over the week that followed, WWE removed Gable from the triple threat match he was scheduled for on Raw with Braun Strowman & Bronson Reed. However, WWE has since stated that Gable is cleared and will be on Raw in the triple threat match.
Paul “Triple H” Levesque is WWE’s Chief Content Officer in charge of the company’s creative process. In an interview with WWE’s Pat McAfee on the Pat McAfee Show, Triple H spoke about the fan reaction to what happened to Gable on Raw and noted that Chad will be on the June 24th Raw in Indianapolis.
“You see things on TV, and it escalated quickly from here’s Chad Gable laying down. He’s obviously unconscious. To him, ‘Oh my god, he got shot in the head.’ And there’s obituaries being put up on him. People wishing him well, you know, like, look, it’s one of the wonderful things about our fans is they, they just love to be engaged in the product and to, in their minds, fantasize where it can go and what it’s going to be.”
“And it’s an awesome part of what we do. Every now and then we got to pull back into reality a little bit like, ‘Oh, Chad Gable is still alive. Okay.’ Clarify that for the record. Still alive. And if you come here tonight, you will probably see him actually competing.”
Triple H Praises Chad Gable, Never Wants Him To Leave
At the WWE Clash at the Castle press conference earlier this month, Triple H had good things to say about Gable, who has become one of the top heels on the WWE Raw brand. Gable recently re-signed a new contract with WWE, so he’ll be sticking around for many more years as Hunter leads the way.
“He’s an amazing performer. I would like for him to be here forever, for him to be able to perform at the highest level, be seen by the most people, have an incredible career, leave here as healthy as possible. The environment has changed, and he is part of that change.
It’s just a massive movement of positive, excited young talents, and some older, that are looking to run through a wall to take this to another level. As big as it is, they are looking to make this beyond anybody’s expectations of what it can be. That mindset, especially people like Chad, he came up through the PC and we worked together for a long time. I know what his expectations are because we helped put it in him. I’m just thrilled he’s here and excited to move forward with him.”
