Triple H May Wrestle Again Under One Condition
Triple H last wrestled in a WWE ring over four years ago.
The Game had a legendary career as an in-ring talent, holding many championships, including 14 world titles. However, he was forced to retire from in-ring competition in 2022 following a serious heart surgery.
During his recent appearance on the Night of Champions Post-Show, Saudi fans chanted to the Chief Content Officer, ‘One more match,” to which he responded by stating that it would never happen.
Speaking on Vince Russo’s The Brand podcast, wrestling veterans Stevie Richards and Bin Hamin commented on Triple H’s response to the fans’ chants. Richards claimed The Game would eventually be “GOAT’ed” into coming out of retirement. Meanwhile, Bin Hamin suggested The Game could return to the ring for the biggest payday ever in Saudi Arabia.
Stevie Richards: I guarantee it’s gonna be somebody ‘GOATing’ him out of retirement to do this.
Bin Hamin: First time ever. Biggest payday for one match in Saudi. How do you feel about it?
Stevie Richards: I’ll tell you what, if he wants to break Ric Flair’s heart attack record for the last match, he has a good chance of doing that. [3:22 onwards]
Triple H Wrestled Randy Orton In His Final WWE Match
In January 2021, Triple H competed in what ended up to be his final match before retiring. He wrestled his former Evolution teammate and longtime rival Randy Orton on an episode of RAW.
The match ended in a draw after Alexa Bliss interrupted it to attack The Viper with a fireball.
