Triple H Allegedly Undermined WWE Roster With Controversial Booking Decision

WWE Triple H open mouthed

Triple H has been accused of undermining his own roster with a very recent controversial booking decision.

Evolution 2 is on the horizon as the women of WWE get ready to take centre stage once again. Several title matches will take place on the show, with Roxanne Perez replacing the injured Liv Morgan to join Raquel Rodriguez in defending the WWE Women’s Tag Team Title in a fatal four-way match.

On the July 4th edition of SmackDown, WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus returned to confront WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton. That led to Stratton picking Stratus as her title challenger at Evolution 2. But has Triple H made a mistake with this booking?

Triple H Making WWE Title Mistake?

Speaking on BroDown, former WWE and WCW writer Vince Russo – who once made himself WCW World Champion and was part of a great reset that saw all WCW titles vacated, rendering them meaningless – claimed Trish Stratus immediately getting a title shot has undermined the rest of the women’s roster:

You’ve got a roster full of female talent. In walks Trish Stratus. She gets a title shot like the last person said. Why? I don’t know. But again, so she jumps everybody else on the roster. That means everybody else on the roster doesn’t mean s**t. That’s exactly what that means.

Russo’s claims come despite WWE making clear on TV that both Women’s World Champion IYO SKY and Tiffany Stratton would be picking their own opponents for the show.
