Triple H Urged To Book Absent WWE Star In SummerSlam Main Event
It’s less than a month until the 2025 SummerSlam.
Triple H, as usual, is burning the candle at both ends to make the best bookings for the two-nighter event.
At present, the two confirmed matches are Cody Rhodes facing John Cena for the Undisputed WWE Championship and Jade Cargill challenging the Women’s Champion.
The company also recently hosted the WWE Night of Champions, and missing in action was Logan Paul.
On the same night, he attended his brother Logan Paul’s boxing match against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in Anaheim, California.
The Maverick’s last appearance was at the 2025 Money in the Bank PLE, where he joined forces with Cena to face Rhodes and Jey Uso in a tag team match.
While hosting his usual IMPAULSIVE podcast post-MITB, Paul revealed being injured due to a hematoma on his shin.
Before SummerSlam, Triple H will also oversee the all-women’s Evolution PLE, scheduled for July 12.
Sports Journalist Calls For Triple H To Book Logan Paul At SummerSlam
Canadian-American sports journalist Ariel Helwani urged Triple H to book a main event match featuring Logan Paul at “The Biggest Party of the Summer.”
Helwani appeared on the former United States Champion’s podcast, where he said:
Night 2, SummerSlam, MetLife. None of this Night 1 BS. This is the face. Get him (Paul) in there headlining for the title. [12:05 onwards]
WWE has never officially released a statement declaring Logan Paul injured. So, it will be interesting to see whether or not Triple H adds him to the SummerSlam line-up and in what capacity.
