Triple H Sends The Rock A Message After Huge Career Milestone
Triple H has sent a direct message, perhaps through gritted teeth, to The Rock after he achieved a huge career milestone.
On December 8th, it was announced that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has been nominated for a prestigious Golden Globe Award for his work as Mark Kerr in The Smashing Machine.
The Rock is one of the six nominees for a Golden Globe award for the Best Performance by a Male Actor (Drama) category. The list of nominees is:
- Joel Edgerton (Train Dreams)
- Oscar Isaac (Frankenstein)
- Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson (The Smashing Machine)
- Michael B. Jordan (Sinners)
- Wagner Moura (The Secret Agent)
- Jeremy Allen White (Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere)
The 83rd Golden Globe Award ceremony will take place on January 11, 2026.
The Rock broke his silence on the huge career achievement, and more success could be coming for him as his role created a fair amount of Oscar buzz despite The Smashing Machine’s struggles at the box office.
Triple H Congratulates The Rock
Now, his old in-ring rival and colleague at the top of WWE, Triple H, has sent his own message of congratulations to The Final Boss on social media:
Want to extend my congratulations on behalf of the entire @WWE family to @TheRock on his @goldenglobes
nomination for The Smashing Machine. I know that he gave his all to this role and the performance on screen showed it. Today’s announcement is a recognition of that hard work.

Rumours of dissent between Triple H and The Rock have run rampant ever since the People’s Champ officially returned to WWE as part of TKO’s Board, putting him higher in the corporate food chain than The Game.
