Triple H Praises The New Day’s WWE Success For Specific Reason (Video)
The incredible run of The New Day in WWE has led to Triple H using them as a positive example for younger talent.
It was announced recently that WWE will be celebrating The New Day’s tenth anniversary on the December 2nd episode of Monday Night Raw.
WWE will honour the 10th anniversary of one of its most popular factions, The New Day. Since their epic debut in 2014, Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, and Big E have captivated fans worldwide with their electrifying energy and the power of positivity.
On December 2nd, WWE invites fans to join in the celebration of a decade of positivity with a special tribute to The New Day’s legacy on Monday Night Raw.
As a trio, The New Day’s Kofi Kingston, Big E & Xavier Woods have become one of the greatest stables in the history of WWE. Kofi and Big E each had runs as the WWE Champion while Woods was King of the Ring. As a tag team, the group has won the various WWE Tag Team Titles a combined 12 times over the last decade. One of their reigns was a record-long 483 days until it was beaten by The Usos.
Unfortunately for the group, Big E has been out of action since March 2022 due to a serious neck injury after taking a belly-to-belly suplex from Ridge Holland on the floor on SmackDown. It’s not known if Big E will be able to wrestle again.
Triple H Uses The New Day As Positive Example For Other Talent
Throughout their ten-year run in WWE, The New Day has been known for their power of positivity, tossing pancakes into the crowd, Xavier’s trombone skills, and other antics that brought laughs to the WWE Universe.
In a video on WWE’s YouTube channel, Chief Content Officer and WWE Hall Of Famer Paul “Triple H” Levesque credited The New Day for standing out on their own and coming up with creative ideas.
“You guys did that. Not to blow smoke, but I use that as an example for young guys all the time. ‘They are the examples.’ We didn’t write any of that s**t. No one on our end was smart enough to go ‘Trombone. Pancakes.’ It just happened.”
The 10th-anniversary celebration of The New Day may seem like a great idea, but Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods had a fiery exchange on Raw that could lead to problems when the celebration takes place.
